I like winter and let me just share one of the reasons with you: Winter is like death.
Autumn is like dying.
While autumn is my favorite season, and while I am obsessed with dying, I find that period of time very stressful. Maybe it has to do with all that maudlin thinking about dying. Ask your therapist about me next time you are there and let me know.
When winter comes, the dying is over. We settle into nature's death. We live through it. I find it comforting.

It really makes me stop and think about why I love winter so much. I'll have to let you know what I come up with :)
